We're about to cross another major Zap milestone according to stats.nostr.band. First it was 1M Zaps, then 2M Zaps. Now, we're about 2 weeks away from hitting 3M Zaps.

It took Nostr about 4 months from Zap launch to hit 1M Zaps in June 2023. Then, it took another 5 months to hit 2M Zaps in November 2023. Now, we're about to hit 3M Zaps 6 months later.

Yes, Zaps are slowing down... 😟 However, we also don't have weekly Zapathons on the same frequency as we used to. These events lost steam and are no longer as impactful as they used to be.
