Novice question: is it possible to completely empty a lightning wallet? Or is it inevitable that there will always be miniscule amounts of sats that remain?

Maybe I'm not aware of the right methodology but the fees are what trip me up. I don't knowhow to completely empty while leaving the exact right amount for the transaction fee.
Not really possible for custodial lightning wallets as they have holdbacks to cover the fee. Would be great of there was a way to just donate the last few sats without it having to be accounted for forever until the provider closes your accpunt or rugpulls

Custodial? Yes.
Non custodial? No. Not until you close the channel. It doesn't make financial sense (closing & opening channels) as there's an on-chain fee involved.
