That's one way of looking at it. What if those MFers that follow a different religion than you?

I respect a man who is faithful to his religious discipline regardless of what it is. But to call it “spiritual” with no discipline is a half measure.

There are many types of discipline. And there are many ways to have faith. Be careful about judging others and their faith. Likely you have no idea what they have been through or what their connection to spirit is about. There are many ways to live. And you only have one tiny little perspective to consider.

I saw this a lot in AA and mostly from men

I can see that. I grew up around a lot of NA meetings. I just think it may be an over generalization. I am someone who is not religious and very spiritual. And no one can take that from me. But maybe I am undisciplined. If you saw the way I live, I doubt you would think that though.

I’m sure I am making generalizations. That’s what I do 😜 It’s just a pet peeve of mine when I hear it. It usually just sounds like a cop out. But that has a very specific context from which I’m drawing. I’m in the same boat with you as far as looking spiritual. I’ve got a lot of flaws that I wear on my sleeve daily. I swear like a sailor, drink 🍹 like a fish and have a propensity to do some things I shouldn’t share in public

*Sounding spiritual but not living it

Or maybe I’m misunderstanding everything your saying. Please correct me.

I feel you. We all generalize at times. I know I do. I get what you are saying.
