Why has my Nostr feed turned toxic lately?

I've always loved how positive my Nostr timeline was - until the past few weeks. I couldn't figure out what changed, until now.

I recently switched to Primal because I was frustrated with my previous client. And just now I found out that Primal's mute filters only work for accounts I don't follow. As soon as I follow someone, my muted‑word list is ignored for their posts.

That's why I'm suddenly bombarded with the same depressing political noise that pushed me away from Twitter years ago - vaccine debates, Trump, Gaza, and other topics I personally don't want filling my mind.

Add an option like "include follows for muted words filter". It would restore the clean, uplifting experience that made Nostr great for me.
