Was just reviving a 4yr old Razer 15 laptop with a corrupted SSD. Trackpad also wasn’t working, so figured I’d look at that while I had it apart.

The battery was more bloated than I’ve ever seen a laptop battery. Back cover screws nearly popped out.

I’m not usually the paranoid type, but this thing seemed to be swelling in real time. Ended up putting the battery outside in my fire pit until I can recycle it properly tomorrow.

Design flaw or bad batch?
