The first sensible difference between #ActivityPub and #Nostr for me is in ActivityPub you still need to connect to a specific single endpoint to read the feed and post. So if the endpoint is blocked then you are not able to read the feed without a VPN. But in Nostr you are connecting to many relays and the data is shared between them, So if a relay is blocked you can still connect to another relay without a VPN. Unless the bad guys use deep packet analysis to drop all Nostr related packets! Please correct me if I'm wrong.
