HERE WeGo maps / Organic Maps / Magic Earth = all better than google maps.
You can de-Google Android (on Pixel phones) with GrapheneOS. It's pretty easy.
Organic Maps is seriously very good, way better than OsmAnd as an Open Street Maps client. My go to maps app on Graphene OS.
