πŸ§™β€β™‚οΈ Specter Desktop v2.1.1 now on Start9 with Bitcoin Core v28+ Support! πŸš€

Hey Stackers πŸ‘‹

After some deep diving into the Start9 SDK, I’ve successfully updated the Specter Desktop service for StartOS to v2.1.1 – fully compatible with Bitcoin Core v28+! πŸŽ‰

What’s New?

βœ… Updated to Specter v2.1.1

🧩 Full support for Bitcoin Core v28.x + v29.x

πŸ” Improved multisig and hardware wallet support

🧱 Built using the new Start9 SDK

πŸ§ͺ Verified + tested successfully on my own Start9 node

You can sideload the .s9pk right now from my repo:

πŸ™‹ Why This Matters

The official Specter wrapper was outdated and incompatible with newer Bitcoin Core releases. I decided to take matters into my own hands and bring it up to date, with full build support using the new SDK – no legacy Embassy tools needed.

πŸ› οΈ PR Open!

I’ve submitted a pull request to Start9Labs:

πŸ‘‰ PR #56 on GitHub

If merged, it’ll be available in the Marketplace soon.
