GM 🫡 😂

Good morning🫡☀️

How's the weekend been so far?

Productive in terms of housework… almost time for fiat mines🙃

How is your weekend?

Same in terms of housework, athough with lots of yardwork. Damn squirrels try and dig up everything🙄. I'm finally taking nostr:nprofile1qqsqdzwltpr635ehdzfd52tz947qlhq77x2c7j7yguwep9n258k2nusprdmhxue69uhhw6r9v96zu6rpwpc8jarpwejhym3wvdhj7qgkwaehxw309aex2ctv0yhx6mr9dd6juer9wchszxmhwden5te0w35x2en0wfjhxapwdehhxarjxyhxxmmd9ujsf6xu's advice and buying a pellet gun. I think this one will do just fine. Other than that, this was a... fairly stress free weekend.

I got a pellet gun after my dogs got sprayed by a skunk….hahahaha haven’t used it for a while but better to be prepared

That doesn't sound like it was much fun lol. I would use it on my dog but I don't think it will be effective in keeping him from barking all the time. Honestly, i have my doubts when it comes to keeping the squirrels away too, but... 🤷.

Definitely don't shoot a pellet rifle at your dog. Modern pellet rifles are legit. I have a few 1 shot kills on groundhogs.

I mean, i was joking about using it on my dog. Good to know about the groundhogs, though.

I have a .22 PCP rifle. Squirrels wouldn't stand a chance inside the range where it is accurate. Most of my issues are catbirds and groundhogs though.

A good .177 rifle should be fine for my squirrel problem.

That will be fine, but you need blue thread locker and a torque wrench that does low nm or inlbs. (I have a recommendation.)

Air rifles are surprisingly hard on scopes and mounts.

I'd strongly recommend a 22cal pellet rifle over a 177.

A 177 is fine. And I won't need a mount. Honestly, I'm not even sure I'll need a scope.

What is your recommendation?

That rifle should come with a scope, no?

Yep. But, I'm not sure I'll use it. Squirrels make for good target practice; best to not use a scope for that.

That's fair.
