You could wait till you IRA hits 1.5M and then you could use the method SEPP Substantially Equal Periodic Payment

This method gives you the ability to withdraw your IRA with no penalty. You could withdraw around 100k a year with 1.5M if you are 45.

Also you could buy 150K of MSTY and that currently yields 120k a year. An insane product. It's been running for 2 years.

So you could stack msty until you reach that 150k.

I would never sell my self custody too valuable. I don't like the lending products because right now 13% interest if too high.

It also depends if you like your job or totally hate it. How fast do you want to retire?

Interesting, I didn't realize you could SEPP a roth ira... that may be a good way to go.

I need to do more research into SEPPs period, as I always figured its best not to touch the Roth until 60 and use cold storage bitcoin to hold over for the next 20 years until then...

Really appreciate you opening my mind up to this potential new path!

Also, do you think MSTY will continue those types of returns? It has been an insane run... my gut says that gravy train has got to stop/slow down soon, but that is with no real research. I know the historical performance of that YieldMax funds has not been too great

MSTY has been great in my opinion. It depends on volatility. Bitcoin and mstr have had insanely low volatility on the last 6 months. I think this is about to change.

Either way, the risk reward ratio of msty is very very good. You just risk 150K and maybe you will get 100k rveenues for 10 years with it. Worth trying. It's been working for 2 years
