if the plan succeed the price of BTC will go down against the new fork. Miners will eventually move to the new fork (if it will be a POW one) or just stop mining because no more profitable.

we maxis are a very small niche and cannot support the security of the network alone withouth mass adoption.

That’s a bit too vague to be honest. A fork would still require processing power similar to the current network and with the hashrate growing constantly that’s an unrealistic endeavor. What would the fork offer?

firstable, the fork could be just POS, so no hashrate required. The fork will offer censorship and control, but that's totally irrilevant.

Wouldn’t that just be Bitcoin cash all over again? Why would anyone opt into a shit deal like that once more and more people know and use Bitcoin
