The other day nostr:npub1ruj546gf5d4sqqxrk68ndwf245tg73fjwfwhekdk0adsjzy0yyjsrzsqw2 tipped me 50k Sats.

I received the notification on Damus but the transaction never came through to the ln address I had listed in my profile.

nostr:npub1hcwcj72tlyk7thtyc8nq763vwrq5p2avnyeyrrlwxrzuvdl7j3usj4h9rq looked into this and It turns out these sats were sent to a former ln address which had been replaced months ago in my profile.

I believe somehow when she tipped my profile an old ln address was triggered (not the address I had linked in my profile). I’m pretty sure I lost at least one other transaction.

Does any of this make sense to you? Have you heard of this happening before?

Is it possible when she used the ln tip feature that somehow information on my ln address reverted on her client to older information that had been replaced in my profile months ago?

Am I just bad at this? 🤣
