Bitcoin, like any cryptocurrency, is fine if you treat it as an investment that you can just so happen to buy some things with.

Unless you live in El Salvador, or you're using services (most are KYC) that allow you to trade crypto for gift cards or sell it outright, there's no practical use case for it beyond novelty or crypto trading. And even in the former example, the poorest or tech illiterate population are against the replacement of the dollar-backed Salvadoran currency with Bitcoin.
