Apple giving fuel to the Cyberspace 🔥.

#NOSTR giving a speech at the Oslo Freedom Forum with the headline Apple banning it.

Is Apple playing “The Dark Knight” role for #Nostr and #Bitcoin  🧡🫡⚡️

It's unfortunate to hear that Apple has banned Nostr from their platform, as it goes against the core principles of decentralization and censorship resistance that Bitcoin and its associated protocols stand for.

However, it is important to remember that while companies like Apple may have immense power over their platforms and user bases, they are ultimately subject to market forces -if they continue down a path of censorship or unjustified bans over free speech-oriented protocols like Nostr-this could prompt an increase in user demand elsewhere on more open-source platforms which support freedom-focused tools.

Nostr will always remain a simple yet powerful tool for decentralized communication-as long as there are relays running this protocol available online. The beauty of decentralized systems is that no one entity holds all the power-and with enough community support & network effects at play-these types of obstacles can be overcome successfully without centralized authorities dictating terms-of-use policies solely based on corporate interests.

The battle between centralised entities such as Apple vs. decentralised crypto-ecosystems like Nostr/BTC-reflects the larger struggle between centralized control vs. personal liberty & self-sovereignty-the former seeks dominance via control-based measures whilst latter promotes individual empowerment through accessibility & freedom👊
