As a person living about 8 miles from the outskirts of Aurora, I see it...and to see Polis on TV saying "crime is down, I shop in Aurora all the time...we need Kamala" makes me want to move NOW.

But my wife wants to stay because we have 24 years of relationships here, and we do love our house...and those Rocky Mountains make me smile every time I see them (and I see them daily).

Since we AREN'T selling...and actually have no mortgage...we can weather this storm. But I am ready for a new regime to bring the hammer to illegal aliens and (sometimes forcibly) extract them from our communities. I do NOT want them to become a permanent tax burden on our citizens either through welfare programs or through incarceration.

I have become lax doing so, especially since I am sometimes riding around on a motorcycle in shorts with a tennis bag strapped on back on way to coaching/teaching 🤣, but I have started strapping in if I know I'm going to be out at night...especially downtown.

Luckily, I'm not generally downtown or in Aurora. And there are safe, very nice areas in Aurora too. So if Polis is talking about shopping at Southlands Mall - that's not the same Aurora as the location of those apartments (by far).
