Would love to know what I'm missing other than being able to read from a book and then put it on another piece of paper....

I know hundreds of manufacturing companies that are in search of reliable welders or machinists. Both jobs pay much higher than minimum wage. What is stopping someone?

None in my area. Can't afford to move.

Worth looking into. Many of the shops are in rural or metro areas.
