I think it'd be slick if nostr clients put a little spot on your profile for your SimpleX address with a tiny pop-up with the QR code.

a nice work around is to use this website, https://w3.do/ (made by a nostrich - https://github.com/jinglescode/nostr-url-shortener), to shorten your URL and pop it into your bio. See mine for example 🤙
Just stuff it in the metadata, clients will follow.
If the creators and maintainers or Nostr want it to catch on with normal folks they need to add features that normal folks want.
Catering to the bitcoin crowd will not drawn in the general public.
