What do the first few steps (starting from zero coding knowledge) look like, in your opinion/recommendations...?

How do you even know what language(s) to begin to learn? 🤔
Try to solve a problem that bothers you, search and see what's appropriate for that, start there.
Think of coding as a tool that helps you automate things you do repetitively. IMO that's a good enough mental model for a beginner.
If I may suggest, listen to a million podcasts, listening for someone you like that you think you might like to work with, like nostr:npub12rv5lskctqxxs2c8rf2zlzc7xx3qpvzs3w4etgemauy9thegr43sf485vg or nostr:npub1hea99yd4xt5tjx8jmjvpfz2g5v7nurdqw7ydwst0ww6vw520prnq6fg9v2, that is doing something that kind of blows you away, bang your head on your desk for a few weeks to learn how to download, install, run, troubleshoot (debug mode, logs) that tool. Document (copy/paste screenshots, screen scrapes) your journey, especially the hard parts. Get a GitHub account, and with as much humility as you can muster, ask questions there, submit a doc or code bug or feature request. If that dev generously mentors you, keep going, else try another dev and project that blows you away as well. Something like that. I hope that helps. Good luck! Have fun!
