Since last summer, the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis has been monitoring the price of a dozen eggs denominated in bitcoin.

In March, the average price for a carton of eggs decreased to 13,714 satoshis ($3.88), representing a 24% reduction from approximately 18,077 satoshis in February.
