Not teaching kids common sense doesn't help either, and having them question reality as kids is also not helpful.
What's the point in learning math if what I see with my own eyes isn't even real if someone else claims to not be what they are, or what they look like.
I'm glad I grew up when and where I did, as we were told we were all unique and valuable, and focused on learning in school.
