In 2018 a pseudonymous pleb going by the name Pip hid a whopping 310 #BTC in a single abstract image. Pip hid the massive bounty across four wallets explaining that the puzzle was created “to make someone else happy” having themselves already amassed a ton of bitcoin as an early adopter. To crack the code participants were required to have a combination of skills including image manipulation, bytecode manipulation, text encoding and cryptography. The puzzle was solved in the year it was released by someone known as Marc.
