Correct, but what I mean is bsky can update their code to prevent this app from working. A masto instance can't do that without becoming non standard and breaking federation.

Yep, I think there was another one of these firehose sites that had bsky and nostr side by side. All I'm saying is they control the protocol and could lock it down in future if they wish while this is somewhere between difficult and impossible for mastodon.

His suggestion that masto gives more control is false.
