Gardening has lots of myths that get accepted as fact.

A common one from a customer today, talking about the need to rotate crops.

You do not need to rotate crops.

Charles Dowding has trial beds in his market garden where he plants the same thing in the same place every year with no impact on yield.

In fact for some crops he has the best yield in say the 8th year in a row!

Soil health is paramount before all else. Once you have that down you can make your own rules! 🌿

That is very interesting- did not know that.

He has a small book called 'myths and misconceptions' where he outlines these common tales told as truths!

Worth a read.
