Uhh I think it's because of my relays. Maybe I have too many or too little.
Or I'm following the wrong ones. It's an issue mostly on web apps. My main app is amethyst because it has the least issues, but I used another one lately and noticed notifications that didn't show up in amethyst. Also search results.
Amethyst doesnt show many notifications by design. We only show the ones that matter, where you were directly cited or the autor of the post people are replying to.

Yes and the example im referring to was a quoted boost. It didn't show up at all on amethyst when it happened and now if I go back it shows. Also happened with likes I got on a post. Wouldn't show up in notifications until I went to my profile and loaded up the post
