As the smug demonstration concludes, one of the students raises their hand, politely asks:

"What happens when a homemade explosive comes in through the drop ceiling, or the assailant has a ladder to shoot down through it?"

That's assuming there's a lock preventing it from being collapsed on occupants the same way it opened.
