my mom has made me take fish oil since i was 14

Pls tell me the truth about fish oil.

What I know:

1. Dr Rhonda Patrick says fish oil good

2. Dr Ray Pete says fish oil bad.

3. Fish oil high in omega 3’s.

4. Snake oil is a derogatory term for scam product

5. But in the historical USA Chinese railroad workers would take actual snake oil to help with inflammation and sore joints. And real snake oil is high in high in omega 3’s just like fish oil.

6. Riding on the successful coattails of real snake oil, People sold fake snake oil until the name eventually took on a derogatory meaning of fraudulent medicine.
