Monero does not have multisig, right?

If trustless escrows are only feasible on bitcoin, that might be a reason for it to make a comeback.

multisig on monero requires out of band signing.

the necessity will be eliminated in the Seraphis update (coming soon โ„ข)

Ou of band, sort of like taproot and musig schnorr that always look like singlesig on-chain?

nono sorry wasnt clear

you have use the cli wallet to export the partially signed tx and import it into the other wallet signers

its a huge UI hassle and nobody does it

It seems possible to create a program similar to Bisq that could do trades using multisig escrow with Monero and simplify the UX of what is done with Monero CLI only and multiple wallets.

there's still plenty of BTC usage on dnms

Versus had a nice multisig setup before they were compromised.

I don't know the story. Why were they compromised?

It will definitely become more valuable to the common user once the environment truly becomes adversarial.
