I think I found you’re issue. Sending sats with emoji replies is through ZapplePay. For Will’s script to work you need to connect your GetAlby wallet in the sidebar of Damus, under Wallet. You’re going to need a separate NWC connection for the one tap zaps.

Ok good. And when you login to nwc.getalby.com you see two separate connections ? One for Damus and one for ZapplePay ? (Don’t show me the connection strings)

It works now. But zapple pay + zap icon does not work at the same time.
