Long distance #relationships (LDRs) can be challenging but also incredibly rewarding. Here are some key points about them:

1. Communication is Vital: Effective communication is the cornerstone of any successful long-distance relationship. Frequent and open communication helps maintain emotional closeness.

2. Trust and Patience: Trust is crucial in LDRs. Both partners need to have faith in each other and be patient as they navigate the challenges of distance.

3. Visit When Possible: Meeting in person is essential to keep the connection strong. Plan visits or vacations together whenever possible to create memorable experiences.

4. Set Goals and Expectations: Discuss your long-term goals and expectations for the relationship. Knowing you have a future plan can provide reassurance.

5. Embrace Technology: Take advantage of technology like video calls, texting, and social media to stay connected in real time.

6. Keep the Romance Alive: Surprise each other with thoughtful gestures, letters, or care packages to maintain the romantic aspect of the relationship.

7. Time Zone Differences: Be mindful of time zone differences and create a schedule that works for both of you.

8. Stay Busy and Independent: Pursue your individual interests and maintain a life outside the relationship to avoid becoming too dependent on each other.

9. Challenges and Rewards: Long-distance relationships can be tough, but they can also build stronger emotional bonds and provide opportunities for personal growth.

10. Plan for the Future: Discuss your plans for eventually closing the distance between you, whether it's through moving or other means.

Remember that every LDR is unique, and what works best may vary from one couple to another. Open communication, trust, and a shared commitment to making it work are essential for the success of a long-distance relationship.

I don't believe in long distance relationships. I find it all to be vague & bogus as much as every step here can be done. Whats to stop you from getting drunk going out & hooking up w a random. Day 1 i'm in a relationship? Day 4 Well he is in another state. Day 7 your my statesmen & my man is back at home.

Guy who the womans suppose to be with: Can't wait to jitsi my girl at 8 tonight.

I honestly don't see how they can work unless you both got money & can fly out every month & stay for 2 weeks. But lets be real who would wana fly me out to them for a 2 week vacation?

I think they can work if it's temporary and plan to move in eventually. But they'd have to have already been friends first because Otherwise it'd just be too much getting to know them when they are so for away

The whole point of it is to not be temporarily. If your gunna temporarily be with someone why bother at all?
