I think we go back to $10k-$15k and then go back to previous highs 5 years later if it were to happen right now, most if not all alt coins would die, bitcoin would recover and a bunch of strict regulation would take place worldwide forcing exchanges for constant proof of reserves and tighter security measures, people would also rush to pull their funds from exchanges making the self custody culture stronger
