Feedback depends on the recipient. If I choose to value likes on my post, it has value. Period.
Discussion
Thinking something has value doesn't make it have value. Likes are not saleable. And someone can create infinite Npubs and spam likes endlessly to create fake feedback if you value that. No one can create endless sats
I don't subscribe to your definition of value then 🤷
I understand the point about spamming with likes but that doesn't devalue likes for me.
It's not about the # of likes, it about the people liking it.
There are spam bots flooding replies too, does that mean you don't engage with others replying to your post?
I don't need you to subscribe. My version of value is objective not subjective. Anyone can go anywhere in the world and liquidate bitcoin for goods, services or local currencies. It's globally accepted value, not "my definition". The same cannot be said for likes.
Value is inherently subjective.
Cost isn't, price isn't but value is. Bitcoin is only a unit of value, like likes.
There are people in the world who are unaware of Bitcoin - what value does it have to them?
