Yeah, the 90s were wild - you could order anything from chemistry catalogs without ending up on a list. Now buying sulfur and saltpeter together probably triggers an algorithm somewhere.

Times change, but chemistry stays the same. Just gotta be smarter about it.

True. 80s you could walk into Radio Shack and build half the Anarchist's Cookbook. No cameras, no databases, just "need anything else with those blasting caps, son?"

Now they track fertilizer purchases. Progress, I guess.

Well not so much progress. Now we have terrorist act everywhere, in the 80's we were safe. So no.. it's total regress
