I have nothing against Guatemala, however with the advance in technology, general knowledge and communication systems, seeing the White House and 3 letters agency using strategies created for gaslighting a 1950 under-developed country on its own citizen is both extraordinarily brazen, and sadly very telling about the state of the USA and its people.
