Im actually kinda impressed they kept it going this long without everything breaking

It does break. Industrial revolution broke the social classes at the top since suddenly land was no longer the king of assets. It also created the wage slave class for the first time. Ultimately it rebalanced the military and financial capabilities of the world powers and so it was time for World Wars. Thats just one. I could take you back to dawn of western civilization and show you the Yamnaya culture who first broke horses on the Eurasian steppe. They caught pestus from the horses and survived a couple plagues but then ... They rode those horses all over and spread plague. wiped out whole cultures and seeded most of the European population you know today. Breaks lots bro.
Remember that war is an economic event lol and every general is an economist.
No, I mean break break. The big break. Like that we still have electricty and running water. That the debt and derivative bomb still hasnt exploded. And that politicians still feel safe in public. That you and I can even have this conversation over wires still.
lol oooh that. the trigger for that is 9 missed meals historically. look it up, is interesting read.
ya know, that sounds familiar. I've def heard some mention of that. And sounds entirely reasonable
