Expiring eCash? 🤢
Nothing lasts forever but I hope there’s a fail-safe mechanism where funds would be returned rather than deleted or seized.
I periodically get burned by expiring credits or “loyalty rewards” and it is really frustrating

Except loyalty points are totally made up fiat bullshit, while ecash is a claim against actual money that would apparently just be voided, and the underlying asset kept by the owner of the mint. In other words, rugged.
If you have a wallet backup, you can just change your backend mint and you will be safe.
