Some of you are using clients where you can only clearly read or count the top levels of any thread.

You are difficult to converse with.

Yup, UI's that don't facilitate conversations will not retain their most active users.

Showing top level only trends towards click bait, long posts, censorship, ....

Also bad when you can't spring from a notification into an entire thread. No idea what this is in response to.

I meant that figuratively. I can see the entire thread in #Nostrudel , including the bits that arrived after I've opened the thread.

Only showing that first line of the first posts of the thread is genius!

He has the best notifications, as well.

Some clients are clearly designed for doomscrolling, but interacting with their users is beyond tedious.
