#[0] I was (am?) Android beta tester running iris 2.3.3. i figured it was updating automatically with other apps, but see google store version of iris at 11 now. Should I reinstall?

No need to reinstall the app. You can quit and restart to force the latest update if it does not do it otherwise. The version numbers are not really used since there are even intra-day updates.
Noticed when surfing in settings, that version is indeed 11. Would suggest deleting version number in "About", if it's not being updated.
