So I've been wondering if there were a way to do a "nextdoor" esque system with nostr.

Mesh(tastic) would seem like a good way to keep it local to a specific community/neighborhood. Im not well versed enough to get passed the Ham gatekeepers.

I know the Japanese nostriches have something going on with a geolocked relay or something to that effect.

Anyway, I've just been thinking of ways to implement nostr in a more local meaningful way. Community based without the nextdoor tyrants.

Having a mesh based system would really make for a robust community system
