Nothing wrong with having an opinion. I have 2 girls and it is a super grey area for me. I feel you can’t compromise on encryption, but if a user or group is doing known criminal activity, especially against children, I see no reason not to hit them with the ban hammer.
They aren't there to solve the problem, but exacerbate and let it continue to be an issue so they still have jobs and titles of position and 'power.'
If someone isn't E2EE positive in these scenarios, they are not your friend and should be considered permanently compromised.
