Assuming there isn’t some law that says doing so is illegal, which provoked whoever you were sending through to collect that information.
Moneygram/Western Union have weird terms of service and limit what you can do. It's really gay to restrict where you can send money to. .
I’m sure if they could just send money without worrying about the red tape, they would. They just don’t want to be charged with or fined for aiding criminal activity.
