Hmm.. hold on, that's not a fair assessment of my argument. Your strawman was that it was ahistorical and not held by church history, and my first two points were to draw the conclusion that those presuppositions were not quite correct. I think its more likely that the argument you vouch for is only as objective as Luthers decision to make himself Pope by denying 1500 years of church council consensus. Same old script?
