Depends on the client. If you dont follow yourself, your posts dont show up in the timeline. Its been common practice for a client to "pre subscribe" yourself to yourself, but I havent tried removing myself lately

So it’s not so much a glitch as it is poor coding, gotcha. Appreciate the reply.

I was able to remove it using Damus, then I immediately uninstalled it, LMAO.

That’s a nice app, probably one of the better clients I have tested, I just wish they weren’t so blatantly capitalistic.

Youll find most things on nostr are associated with bitcoin, value-for-value and transparent incentives. Its not so much a coding problem as it is intrinsic to the protocol, and the client attempts to maximize your experience. This is the nature of protocol over platform, every client can offer a different kind of experience as can every server/relay.
