I'm very disappointed in the direction Mozilla is taking, but is there another viable alternative to chrome based browsers? Google certainly don't hold any moral superiority, and everything built on chrome is essentially cucked to google. In the same way anything downstream of firefox (e.g. librewolf or mullvad) is reliant on mozilla... (who in turn has relied too heavily for too long on google funding)
Web browsers are in a really closed and dark place. If you know of some viable alt. Please share 🙏🏼
Support Ladybird. The whole Chromium based browser resistance is a lost cause right now. You don't have to accept it right now if you don't want to, but I'm hopping off the sinking ship early. Only time will tell what happens, but none of the Firefox based browsers appear anywhere close to prepared to take on full development from what I have seen.
And I would rather use a more ethical Chromium based browser at this point than stick around for the Mozilla shit show. I won't send them money so it makes no sense for me to keep using their products. Sad reality for me.
