I don't get this obsession with aliens shooting super hot beams as their primary form of attack. If they really were advanced, and really would kill people, I assume they could disable our brains with some kind of sonic force. Or some other shit. There's way more efficient ways to kill someone than the Moonraker Laser. Maybe they can kill my soul with their thoughts, who the hell knows, the sky is the limit.
