People using USD is idiotic? Yeah, it is. That's why Bitcoin was created. But expecting all people to move over onto Sound money standard is unrealistic.

It doesn't matter how many times I spoke with my family members about Bitcoin, they are just not getting it. They stick to what they know, probably till the bitter end.

I think some people will learn about the principles of Bitcoin only when they are completely rugged by the fiat system - double or triple digit debasement, capital controls prohibiting people to move fiat onto the regulated exchanges, confiscation of private property. Until then, the frogs will continue to bathe in the pot.
