I might or might not remaking the homepage of Highlighter and including a bunch of Gigi quotes to sprinkle that stunning prose

"might or might not" is just your way of saying "I am currently forcing clone number 5 to update highlighter dot com"

Something to ponder upon in Madeira soon

Reading online nowadays is still like tinkering and hoping for enlightment.

It's one thing that makes the internet suck at some point.

And i did not find a solution out there for this.

Btw

A tweet feed is not a solution.

yeah, the lack of widely standardised markdown on nostr short form notes, mimicking the shitcoin silo posts of FB, X et al is not helpful either.

even though probably literacy rate among nostr users is probably in the top 10% of the population.

i can tell you all can read because you write like you can read.

Mine (for books I want to study) is 1. read the book with pen in hand, 2. go back when I'm done reading to skim underlines and copy concepts/quote into a document with a page reference. It's not very good, but it is pretty quick and helps a lot with comprehension and reference. A more effective method I sometimes use is to write a blog post after reading a book, but that's much more work.
