Chatgpt is rapidly becoming a whole new money grab for the state and a few selected corporations.

Norwegian universities are in the process of signing up to costly subscribtions for centralized chatpgt services.

Soon every institution of the state will integrate it.

Academia has fully embraced chatgpt, because it adds to its expansion. At this moment it’s rapidly churning out books, papers, subscriptions, seminars, job positions, etc.

You’ll never see it embrace, or even explore, a technology that threatens to shrinks it.
