my living room smart tv has started sending system notifications that appear at the top of screen reminding me that as part of their service agreement they get to monitor everything im doing on said smart tv.

Can you use something like a PiHole or a router firewall to block sending of info?
I don't know much about networking, but seems within the realm of possibility 🤷♂️
