What about if one of you could easily die in the kids formative years? Like predicatably, statistically be prone to death?

I probably wouldn’t do it personally, but I have an uncle who had kids after 50 and is at risk of some serious health problems, but he lives an incredibly good life and has gotten over 13 years with them now

If you were to do that, I personally think you should make sure you have a godfather or close family member or friend who would be willing to raise the child in that unfortunate circumstance
