Hi,

I would like too see an option to subscribe to a conversation and be notified of every new message in that specific conversation.

Many times I find an interesting post that I would like to follow the conversation, but I don't see an option to be notified of all messages people replied in that specific conversation.

Obs. I would like to subscribe to be notified, but without be necessary to post anything in the conversation that I intend to follow.

I read the other day (on Nostr actually) that iOS added support for webapp notifications but I haven't had time to look into how hard that will be to implement. For Android users I guess that would have to work with email notifications right? That's a cool idea, thanks.

I'm using on desktop. I think for mobile should be an app, right?

Satellite is only a web client right now. Eventually I would love to make a native client.

One problem I see here is that opening two different clients, like Satellite and Nostrich, some new notes is missing on Satellite. Any idea why this happens?

Are you looking at the "featured" or "following" feed on Satellite?

Following

Satellite is a little different than most clients in the way that it displays notes. Most (all?) other clients I think have Twitter-style "posts" and "posts and replies" feeds. Satellite, rather than separating the feeds, surfaces the whole conversation thread when someone you follow participates. So it's possible that the reason your feed looks different on Satellite compared to another client is that some of the replies from the people you're following are nested inside the conversations that were surfaced.

If ai click on a message that has a reply, the replies feed go to scroll to the message that the person replied.

For now is hard to find the message that the person replied if there are many.

I mean should automatically scroll to the reply message.

Yeah I should find a way to highlight replies from people you’re following. That’s a really good idea!
